With week one done, we are off to a roaring start.  The Facebook group kicked off it’s first week with over one thousand members! I mentioned this in one of my Facebook posts, but Jason, Jae and I created this group because we love photography, Colorado, and connecting with other photographers.  Each one of us have stories of looking for connections after we first picked up a camera.  Some of those stories are positive, and some not so much.  We are hoping that anyone who wants to participate in the group will only have positive stories to tell!!

The support from the Colorado Photography community has been wonderful to see so far. This includes both professional and amateur photographers.  And many others who just want to enjoy seeing photos of Colorado.  So, thank you to everyone who has joined the group.

I want to highlight some of the top posts in this last week.

Group Member – Terrie Smith

The first top contributor I’m highlighting this week is Terrie Smith. In her introductory post, she shared this cool shot of an old truck.

Love that sunburst! Thanks for sharing, Terrie. You can see more of Terrie’s work here:

Next up is another local Colorado Springs photographer, and current ‘Best of the Springs’ Fine Arts Photographer, Zach Vogel. With Zach’s first post, he shared this beautiful photo from the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.

The San Juan Mountains are amazing, and this is a very special summer view. Thanks for sharing, Zach! You can see more of Zach’s work on his website social media accounts.

Catching these beautiful animals at just the right moment isn’t easy. So nice work, Sandra and thanks for sharing. Check out more of her work on her website and social media accounts.
