Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Two months into winter, and I’m definitely dreaming of spring. But even though it’s cold and the days are short, winter in Colorado is absolutely stunning for photography. Lots of photographers might hibernate this time of year, but honestly, this landscape offers some of the most incredible photo ops. Take a look at this gorgeous shot!

While I haven’t met Mark in person, but I have seen lots of his work over the last few years. And I can tell you he likes to get out in the wintertime.

Ray Mathis is another photographer I have had the pleasure to meet in person and I can tell you he is one of the nicest people I have ever. Ray is also the king of finding the most interesting lichen covered rocks. I think this photo is from out near Grand Junction.
